The Coral Reef Natural Park is one of the largest coral communities in the world with many rare species. The old Visitor Center has been replaced by a permanent multimedia exhibition with interactive screens and 3D videos on marine biodiversity in the region.

The exhibition was installed in the former home of the colony of fishermen Z-23 and allows the visitor to appreciate the seabed near the city through the monitors which provide the viewer with a virtual deep-sea diving experience.

During the visit, the public can admire the colorful corals of the sea of Buzios and even experience the feeling of swimming fish, corals and algae. The 3D-experience features menu options in English and Spanish to accommodate foreign tourists.

The Coral Reef Natural Park Visitor Center is located at Rua das Pedras 141 in the center of Buzios. The exhibition is open from 11 am to midnight. Admission is R$10 reals ($6 USD), seniors and students pay half. Revenue from ticket sales is used for environmental education and conservation of coral reefs in the area.
