According to the National Federation of Civil Aviation Workers (FENTAC), workers will meet on the 12th to discuss a possible strike, which could begin as soon as Tuesday. The possible strike would occur during the nation's busiest travel season.

Under the plan, employees who work both on the ground, such as luggage handlers, as well as those who work in the air, such as flight attendants, would strike. The workers are asking for a 14% raise in wages and the National Union of Airline Enterprises (SNEA) is offering a 3% adjustment.
