According to the chief of police, the mother of an adolescent went to the child protection service to turn in the foreigner. Her daughter had been infected with a sexually transmitted disease and when the woman questioned her daughter, she told of being forced to attend orgies in a luxury condominium belonging to the accused.

The girl recounted to the counselors at the service that at least seven girls—only one of age—were invited to have sex at the residence. At the condominium, they were enticed and induced to consume drugs and alcohol. In exchange for the sexual pleasure they provided, without using condoms, they received money, said the chief.

Based on the report of the victim, a judge for the District of Paripueira issued an arrest warrant for the Italian today. He denied the allegations, but confided to police that he knew at least two of the girls named in the report by the child protection service. His wife was at the station with him and was surprised by the accusations. She said that she had no idea of her husband's attitudes.

A forensic examination will be done on the suspect by the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) of Maceio before he is transferred to the House of Detention, where he will be jailed pending the disposition of the case. He reportedly came to Brazil seven years ago and has lived since September in a condominium located on the coastal highway AL-101. He will be charged with rape of a vulnerable person and corruption of minors.
