| SAO PAULO – A suspect in the triple-homicide involving victims from Finland, arrested Wednesday in Sao Paulo, will be returned to Paraiba to face justice. The 58-year-old mechanic, who was named as a suspected accomplice in the gruesome crime, will be sent back to Paraiba today and is expected to arrive by Monday.
According to police in Sao Paulo, the suspect was preparing to flee to the state of Minas Gerais when he was apprehended. The arrest was the result of a collaboration between the Public Safety departments of the states of Paraiba and Sao paulo. Police were able to locate the individual by tracking his cell phone.
According to investigators, this is the second suspect detained in the crime. The first was on December 6th in Paraiba. The suspects were vendors on the beach near the seaside home that the couple from Finland owned in the town of Jacuma, on the southern coast of Paraiba.
