| HOLLYWOOD, California – In October, after winning a contest, the Brazilian actress Carolina Monte Rosa recorded an episode of the television series “Mad Men” (HBO), one of the most critically acclaimed hits on American television, reported iparaiba.com.br.

The online contest, sponsored by the American clothing company Banana Republic, sought the assistance of the show's viewers to select a photo that best characterized the style of the show. The winner of the most original photo submitted would be invited to appear on an episode in the fifth season.
The most popular photo among internet users who participated belonged to the 29-year-old Brazilian actress. The second most popular belonged to American Sarah Joy.
Carolina competed with about 10 000 people and managed more than 140 000 votes, thanks to the help of Brazilian websites that campaigned for it.
Her victory, however, was only confirmed after she passed the test of series creator Matthew Weiner.
Carolina said her participation was very small, only one of the episodes of the season.
"Obviously, it was less than I expected," she said. "Anyway, they never made more promises."
Still, she says she can not tell too many details of the scene, because he signed a confidentiality agreement.
