| PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil – American pop star Madonna will perform at Olympic Stadium in Porto Alegre, the capital of Rio Grande do Sul state. Folha de Sao Paulo confirmed by telephone with Paulo Cesar Verardi, club owner at the site, that the controversial performer will appear on December 9th.

According to Verardi, negotiations are done and the contract will be signed in the coming days.
Madonna will tour Brazil as part of the “2012 World Tour” which begins in May is Israel. The final performance is expected to take place in Australia in 2013.
”MDNA” that was leaked on the internet in recent days and will be released officially on Monday, is the 12th studio album by the singer and the successor of “Hard Candy,” 2008, which topped the charts in 37 countries. Recorded in New York and Los Angeles, the album was co-produced by William Orbit, who also is responsible for “Ray of Light,” (1998).
