About 100 people, including friends and family of Pamella, participated in a march on Sunday, bringing banners and posters demanding justice. They walked the streets and avenues in the neighborhood in southeast Goiania where Pamella lived. Pamella, a student, was shot in the head and died, on Sunday, 06 November, 2011, after a party in Vila Maua.

She was with her boyfriend when they were approached by two men on a motorcycle. The passenger shot her in the head and the two made a clean getaway. Police believe that Pamella's boyfriend was the intended target. A few days before the shooting, he was involved in a fight between rival fans of Goias and Vila Nova.

“I want justice, because the killer got away. Because the got away and were not caught,” said the victim's mother, Maria Aparecida Volpato.

“They know who it was and the police won't catch them. This would outrage any parent,” adds the father of the victim, Walter Goncalves Pereira.

A producer from TV Anhanguera called the police chief, Adriana Ribeiro, for comment, but his phone was off.
