| RIO DE JANEIRO – On Tuesday, Federal Police arrested an elderly couple, over seventy-years-old, attempting to board an Air France flight to Europe with cocaine hidden in their suitcase.
Officials at Tom Jobim International Airport said that the drugs were in a false bottom in one of the couple's bags underneath clothing.
There is no word on the couple's nationalities or how much cocaine they were carrying. Police will charge the pair with international drug trafficking, which in Brazil, carries a penalty of 5 to 15 years imprisonment.
