Brazil Buys Ocean Patrol Vessels

| LONDON – The Brazilian Navy has signed a contract worth £133 million ($208 million USD) with BAE Systems for the supply of three Ocean Patrol Vessels and ancillary support services. The contract also contains a Manufacturing License to enable further vessels of the same class to be constructed in Brazil.

BAE Systems Wins Brazilian Army Contract

| ARLINGTON, Virginia – BAE Systems, a multi-national defense contractor, announced today a new contract with the Brazilian Army worth $41.9 million USD. The company said that, in partnership with the Brazilian Army, they will upgrade 150 M113B armored personnel carriers to the M113A2 Mk1 configuration.
