| RIO DE JANEIRO – President Dilma Rousseff was one of the most discussed topics on social media networks in Brazil on Saturday. A photograph taken on Friday of the national leader wearing a pair of 3D glasses turned into an internet meme this weekend.
The glasses were used to view a 3D movie supporting industrial competiveness during a visit to the National Industry Confederation (CNI), Friday the 13th, in Brasilia.
Internet user Marcelo Canone posted the photo on Facebook with the phrase “Dilma with lasers,” referring to the glasses. Christian Cavalcante tweeted “3Dilma,” eliciting laughter from other internet users.
During the event, Dilma strengthening industry as a means of continuing Brazilian economic expansion and stresses that the country must invest in innovation, science, technology and professional training.
