| SAO PAULO – A brother and sister team was arrested last Tuesday in the Portal do Morumbi region of Sao Paulo. The man was arrested for possession of cloned bank cards and the woman for trying to bribe police into releasing him.
The 41-year-old man was in a bank trying to withdraw cash. A suspicious teller called police and the man was caught red-handed with 16 cloned bank cards. He then offered police money to let him go and they pretended to accept.
The man called his sister and asked that she bring cash to bribe the officers. The man's 36-year-old sister arrived with R$15,000 (about $7,500 USD), and both were arrested.
